Thank you for visiting Pedalwerks.com,
Whether you are doing a complete restoration or keeping your daily driver running properly I can help you make your project more enjoyable to drive by providing safer, better, more reliable than stock set of foot pedals for your Air Cooled VW.
I only use original factory German made pedals and restore them to "better than Stock" condition while keeping the factory look and geometry, depending on the year I make improvments like adding zerk fittings and "box welding" the clutch pedals on late "stamped" steel pedals that are prone to cracking,
I have restored as early as 1946 pedals back to concourse and have built sets for 1979 beetles in full show chrome.
I will work with you to make sure you get what you want and what will work properly for your year.
I only use original factory German made pedals (or Brazilian made for puma only)and restore them to "better than Stock" condition while keeping the factory look and geometry, depending on the year I make improvements like adding zerk fittings and "box welding" the clutch pedals on late "stamped" steel pedals that are prone to cracking, just to name a few of the upgrades available.
I am not a parts manufacturer and do not sell just parts, I concentrate on doing complete Pedal restorations/builds I use parts from many sources like classic bug parts.com, Fast Fab, Top Line parts, Wolfsburg West and others

Please be aware of an issue with the design of the Split Oval pedal assembly’s where a small percentage of sets of pedals have a condition where when the clutch pedal and brake pedal are depressed at the same time ( as when coming to a stop) the brake pedal will stay depressed until the clutch pedal is released, This is not considered a safety issue and pedals are not warranted or guaranteed not to have this issue, and this is not a refundable condition or I will not be send a replacement set.

the tab to attach the throttle pedal to the floor pan must be used with this set up as equipped from the factory. if your floor pans have been replaced or for better reliability check out my "upgraded" pedals with factory VW 66 and later throttle
Core charge Varies I may or may not have one in stock for exchange please ask.
this set up eliminates the "Z" bar linkage found on these years, that wears out and creates problems with your accelerator.
The only Modification You will need to do is to remove the accelerator "tab" that is welded to the floor pan,
I completely disassemble then sandblast and inspect all parts, I only use good german parts or use new as required, then I "BOX IN" the clutch & Brake pedal for Strength, You will NEVER break your clutch pedal again. The throttle arm gets straightened and Reinforced & the pin gets threaded and lock nut added to hold roller on and eliminate the C clip. The "Base" and Brake pedal bushings are replaced, then the base gets drilled and a "zerk" fitting is installed
$45 core charge, non German pedals NOT accepted as cores
Clutch is moved 1 1/8" and brake moved 3/4" to the left. These are bolt in with no modifications needed
